Make sure you have Adobe Photoshop (I use CS3) or a program like this.
First make a new file with Height: 1024 pixels and Width: 1024 pixels. Then fill the box with pictures you like. When you are finished, save the file as a .targa and call it camp_map.tga .
This is my camp_map:
2nd Lesson: Making a loadingscreen. Camp_map-1

Now make another new file with Height: 1024 pixels and Width: 512 pixels. Then fill the box with pictures you like, but make sure you have some boxes like I have. When you are finished, save the file as a .targa and call it camp_side.tga .
This is my camp_side:
2nd Lesson: Making a loadingscreen. Camp_side-1

Now make another new file with Height: 256 pixels and Width: 32 pixels. Then fill the box with pictures you like, but I should make it as a greyscale, because then when you are loading the map you can see better how far loading is. When you are finished, save the file as a .targa and call it progressbar_back.tga .
This is my progressbar_back:
2nd Lesson: Making a loadingscreen. Progressbar_back

Now make another new file with Height: 256 pixels and Width: 32 pixels. Then fill the box with pictures you like, but I should make it in colors, because then when you are loading the map you can see better how far loading is. When you are finished, save the file as a .targa and call it progressbar.tga .
This is my progressbar:
2nd Lesson: Making a loadingscreen. Progressbar

Now you have to make a map called gfx/loading/ there you have to place the camp_map.tga, camp_side.tga, progressbar_back.tga, progressbar.tga and these two pictures:
2nd Lesson: Making a loadingscreen. Pin_allied
2nd Lesson: Making a loadingscreen. Pin_axis
Before you put these two in your map compile them to .targa so Wolfenstein - Enemy Territory can read them. (U can also change these pictures.) Now use WinRAR to compile it to a .rar. When thats ready rename the .rar to something you like with at the end .pk3 thats because thats the format Wolfenstein - Enemy Territory uses.

This was the second modmaking lesson. If you find it hard on where to possition the objects, copy the file from the pk0.pk3 file located in ETmain folder and edit over that and save as a .targa file. Hope you understand everything what I write. When you don’t understand or when you have questions ask my on xfire (hansson33) or write a reply.

Mathijs

I got great news, my server (and Luc's) is now called DUCK Hide and Seek. But i can change it to #|MmS!|# and Duck Private. In this server we can test our new maps and do scrims. But if someone wants to help paying the server you're welcome and get Ref. Greetings
